PERSONAL MESSAGE
My name is Tessa Capodanno and I am a 2026 C/3rd/P from Winchester, MA. Playing softball has helped me gain confidence and time management skills on and off the field. I started playing when I was 7 year old and fully committed to the sport 4 years ago.
I have worked hard to get where I am and have loved the game ever since. I am currently playing for 18U Rage MW Showcase being coached by Coach Roll (Wellesley College) and Coach Quinn (Tufts University). Primary positions are as a catcher and third baseman however two years ago I worked extremly hard to learn how to pitch to help my high school team.
When pitching, my strengths are my spins and changing between speeds. My fastball is [53], my drop is [51] and my change is [45]. I am expecting this to continue to climb with the work I put into this on a weekly basis.
When it comes to hitting , when not playing in a game I am consistently working to refine my swing daily inside the batting cages as well with my hitting coach, John Pandolpho. This year I am currently leading the conference in hitting batting .531 with 26 hits, 13 doubles and 25 RBI's while hitting in the number 3 hole. I am looking to continue this success this summer during our summer showcase tournaments.
I have worked just as hard in the classroom as I have on the field by maintaining a [3.9] unweighted GPA.
Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing back from you soon!
